TODAY Thursday 23rd February

Visit Watchtree and spend a few minutes identifying the wildlife around you - each habitat has its own associated species. Following just one hours walk and you should have sighted everything from; Bullfinch, Redpoll, Siskin, Long-tailed Tit, Curlew, Goldeneye, Snipe, Tufted Duck, Tree Sparrow and much much more! 

Our next 'event' is this Sunday; 'Spring awakening - breeding birds getting things off their chests' at 10:30am.

BIG BIG events this year at Watchtree - Sunday 17th June '24 hour Bioblitz' and Sunday 26th August 'Watchtree Country Life Fair'.....Dont miss these.

Open everyday 9:30am - 17:00pm (Members have additional 'out of hours' access)

Monday 13th 10:30am - 1pm. Mammal safari. Ages 6+ £2/person. Booking essential (a chance to see and discover as much as you can about mammals - hopefully we'll see Deer, Mice, Voles and Hares...and who knows...we had an Otter last week)

Thursday 16th 10:30am - 1pm. Young persons Olympics. Ages 6+ £2/per person. Booking essential (Forget lounging around the tv or computer - get up to Watchtree and get fit amongst the Willows and Pines....fun guaranteed)

Sunday 26th at 10:30am. 'Spring awakening - breeding birds getting things off their chests'. FREE

 

Good news! The cafe (run by the Sacred Solway Church Group) will be opening at the beginning of April.........Mmmmmm delicious cakes and a nice cup of tea.
