Friends of Watchtree

The Friends of Watchtree consist of local people who have expressed an interest in the nature reserve. Some Friends simply like to be kept informed of developments and projects at Watchtree whilst others assist with office based work such as editing, get stuck in to practical conservation tasks or make best use of the reserves interesting landscapes and wildlife through art and photography. A number of Friends regularly involved with projects have also become Directors and assist with Watchtree's decision making and project management.

Many Friends are also active Watchtree volunteers and attend our weekly volunteer work parties on Wednesday’s at 10:30am or the first Saturday of the month, again at 10:30am. Please check the website for up to date times and arrangements.
